“Now it is no secret that teams like FSU and Clemson are open to discussions with the Big XII if things aren’t sorted out at the conference level. The overall opinion is that when the new bowl playoff system is proposed and voted on that the ACC will have little or no shot at being included in the picture. On the heels of all this news is the fact that other teams in the ACC could be open to heading elsewhere. As far as we are concerned, if, AND THIS IS A BIG IF, teams start jumping ship, we need to look north. It is a tough pill to swallow, but Virginia would fit well with the Big Ten.”
